The Hollywood Gossip: Tom Brady Appreciates Football, Fatherhood

Absence has made the heart grow fonder for Tom Brady.

This is true in the case of football, in which the last full game the star QB played was a stunning, completely awesome loss to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII.

More importantly, it is true when it comes to fatherhood.

The New England Patriots quarterback is sharing custody of his 1½-year-old son John Edward Thomas with his ex, Bridget Moynahan, and says that arrangement makes the limited time with his young son all that much more important.

"I don't see him every day, and we play when I change his diaper: lifting his leg up, playing with his toes, biting his feet," Tom Brady tells Sports Illustrated.

"There's a different appreciation. If you had him every day, you'd go, 'Let's just get this done.' But, say, one week a month, you're like, 'This is so cool!'"

Brady, who is rumored to have gotten his new wife Gisele Bundchen pregnant already, says he also missed football when he was recovering from a knee injury.

"When I was playing every week, I bitched about the little things," says Brady. "Like, God, we've got to go outside today? It's raining! … Or, why do we have a meeting at 7:30 to talk about everything we've already talked about? Geez!"

"When you're not playing, you realize you would [gladly] do any of that."

As for his future, Tom Brady says his goals are simple: Play football the best he can, see Gisele Bundchen nude, spend time with his son and enjoy life.

Okay, we paraphrased that quote, but we doubt it's incorrect.

Mr Paparazzi: Don’t Call Her A WAG!!

[Images: Mr Paparazzi/Big Pictures Words: C. The happy couple were seen leaving footballer Darren’s birthday party at 50 St James Casino.

Speaking recently about their relationship Rochelle insisted that just because she's dating a footballer she is anything but a WAG:

“I hate the word!” She fumed. “It's so cliched and it has a negative quality to it, as if the girl in question only knows how to spend her boyfriend's money.”

“Well, I'm not like that. I have a job of my own. Darren's my childhood sweetheart. We always knew that he wanted to become a footballer and me, a singer, so we just worked hard and pursued our respective dreams.”

Well after hearing that we wouldn’t call her a WAG, we’d call her a very lucky lady.

Mr Paparazzi: The Miss Great Britain Final 2009…

[Images: Mr Paparazzi/Big Pictures Words: C. Curran]Football legend Paul Gascoigne appeared to be enjoying himself at last nights Miss Great Britain final, which was held at Café de Paris in London.
Former Blue singer Simon Webbe and ex-Emmerdale actress Adele Silva joined Gazza on the judging panel to decide which lucky lady was going to be crowned Miss Great Britain and after careful consideration they eventually bestowed the honour to 23-year-old Sophie Gradon AKA Miss Newcastle, who will now go on to compete in the Miss Universe contest later this year.

Can you believe this sort of beauty contest still exists? It seems utterly bizarre to us, but we’re not going to get into that now, instead we’ll just reel off the endless list of reality TV rejects, ex-soap stars, glamour girls and footballers that attended last nights bash…

Mr Paparazzi: Victoria Plans Summer Move To Milan…

[Images: Mr Paparazzi/Big Pictures Words: C. Curran]Victoria Beckham looked happy (for her anyway!) when we spotted her watching hubby David playing football in Milan on the weekend.
Despite initial reports that the Beckham clan were not going to relocate from LA to Italy we’ve been hearing rumours that Posh is so fed up of flying back and forth that she’s decided to start looking for a home in Milan so she can spend the entire summer there with David and their three boys.

“She loves her friends and her life in Los Angeles, but it doesn't make up for the fact she is so far away from her husband. At heart, she is a mum and a wife and she wants to do what is best for her family.”

“Victoria hated the idea of moving to Milan at first, but she's warmed to it. Plus, she doesn't want David to be on his own too long away from her and the kids” and other women…

We may or may not have added that last bit ourselves...

The Hollywood Gossip: Kim Kardashian Getting Kloser to Marriage

There are some fans who may not like the thought of Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian being together forever. But the two look like they're built to last.

Asked if her hunky NFL star beau might be the last man she ever dates, the former sex tape star said that marriage is "close" ... albeit not too close.

"So many people rush into it and it's all this pressure because they see we've been together for a while," Kim who has been dating Reggie since 2007, told People.

"But, we're heading that direction. When we're ready, we'll know."

So that means it's a strong possibility?

"Definitely," the one-time sex tape partner of the great Ray J said at The Pink Agenda Toasts Mother's Day event in L.A. "It's in our future. We've been together two years but we are taking our time. Hopefully this one will last because of it."

"We're just dating and normal and happy and there's no rush."

When the time comes to pop the question, Reggie Bush doesn't have to worry about seeking blessings - he already has the approval of the sexy celeb's family.

Her mother, Kris, who along with Kim co-hosted a Martini & Rossi-sponsored event at the W Los Angeles WET Pool, had high praise for the New Orleans Saint.

"I think he has a lot of respect for Kim and he loves her so much, you can just see it," Kris gushed. "He's just a really nice guy. When you date somebody in our family it's like you kind of date the whole family and he really fits in well."

Except for his name, that is. You'd think with no initials starting in K, the football star would be automatically ostracized, but good to see they're tolerant.

We look forward to the day the lovebirds tie the knot. In the meantime, we look forward to daily batches of useless but hot Kim Kardashian pictures.

MTV News: Taylor Swift Hooks Up With Lucas Till In 'You Belong With Me' Video

'Hannah Montana: The Movie' co-star plays Swift's love interest.By Jocelyn Vena

Taylor Swift on the set of 'You Belong With Me'

Photo: MTV News

In her new music video, "You Belong With Me," Taylor Swift sets out to prove that the dorky, nice girl will always win in the game of love against the pretty, sexy cheerleader. Of course, it doesn't hurt when you get to play both roles and both those roles are fighting over "Hannah Montana: The Movie" hottie Lucas Till.

"[He] plays my love interest in the video, and he does such a great job," Swift said about working with the up-and-coming actor. "He's absolutely perfect for the part and really fun to be around, too."

In the video — the song is from her chart-topping Fearless LP — Till plays not only her hunky next door neighbor, but also a football player. The video was shot at the Pope John Paul II High School in Hendersonville, Tennessee, where Swift lives and her younger brother goes to school. "It's been a really fun two days to shoot this video," she added. "[Till] was recently in the 'Hannah Montana' movie and I met him about a year back and just kind of reached out and was like, 'Hey, want to be in the video?' And he accepted and I'm just really happy to have him in the video."

The video's plot, which Swift describes as "charming," finds the singer reveling in the roles of playing "the popular girl" and "the nerd, who is pining away for this guy that she can't have." Not to ruin it for anyone, but the nerd wins out.

"This song is basically about wanting someone who is with this girl who doesn't appreciate him at all," Swift said. "Basically like 'girl-next-door-itis.' You like this guy who you have for your whole life, and you know him better than she does but somehow the popular girl gets the guy every time."

Well, Taylor, not this time.

NY Times: Sports Briefing | Pro Football: Steelers Release Linebacker Foote

The Pittsburgh Steelers released inside linebacker Larry Foote, a move expected since Foote asked to be traded or cut. Foote had started every Steelers game the past five seasons, including their Super Bowl victories last season and after the 2005 season. But he was unhappy with coming off the field on passing downs for Lawrence Timmons, a 2007 first-round draft pick. With Timmons ready to start, Foote told the Steelers last week that he wanted to be traded or released. The Steelers cut him after failing to find a team willing to deal a draft pick for him. ¶Government investigators began sorting through the Dallas Cowboys’ flattened practice facility, trying to figure out why fierce winds sent the tentlike structure crashing down during a rookie workout session. Twelve people were hurt, including the special teams coach Joe DeCamillis, who underwent surgery Monday to stabilize a fractured vertebra in his neck. The most seriously injured was Rich Behm, the team’s 33-year-old scouting assistant, who was permanently paralyzed from the waist down after his spine was severed. The assistant athletic trainer Greg Gaither, 35, had surgery on his fractured right leg. DeCamillis and Gaither were expected to leave the hospital this week. collapse.

The Hollywood Gossip: Classic Susan Boyle: "The Way We Were"

The world may have just discovered Susan Boyle last month.

But those that attended a local talent show in Scotland - in 1989 - have known about this singer's vocal chops for the last 20 years.

Some dude named Gerry McGuinness, who was in the audience that night at Motherwell Football Club's social club, has uncovered a tape of the Britain's Got Talent contestant singing "The Way We Were.

Classic Susan Boyle

"She was so shy, but she was also very attractive back then. She turned a few heads when she came in," he said. "It's great she is finally getting some recognition."

McGuinness added that Boyle actually did not win the contest that year. Will the same upset take place on Britain's Got Talent?

Yes, if Hollie Steel has her way!
